A spokesperson on the behalf of the facility informs us that the chickens themselves do not carry the virus and are not of concern but that washing hands is still a key element in prevention of COVID-19 along with other bacteria relative to raw meat. Additionally, in relation to the topic, ten long term care facility cases now over and only one new case, and two new cases in lower mainland hospitals.
