In a dedicated effort to empower change and advance the lives of Black Canadians, the Canadian Congress of Black Parliamentarians recently convened for a dynamic two-day summit. This momentous event brought together representatives from diverse political parties, united by a common purpose: to build consensus and propose effective solutions that will positively impact the lives of Black communities across the nation.

Honorable Tony Ince, representing MLA Cole Harbour in Dartmouth, who served as co-chair of the recently concluded Ottawa summit, shed light on the proceedings of this historic gathering. As a prominent voice in the Black community, Ince delved into the intricacies of the summit's discussions, emphasizing the significance of cross-party collaboration in achieving meaningful proposed actions.
