TELILE 24/7 PODCAST #4: Nova Scotia's Tree For Boston
PORT HAWKESBURY - Just in time for Christmas, the newest edition of the TELILE 24/7 Podcast features a visit to the farmland of Tony and Heather Sampson in Grande Anse, which contributed this year's official Nova Scotia Tree for Boston.
The podcast also includes an interview with Labi Kousoulis, one of three MLAs and former cabinet ministers that are running to replace outgoing Premier Stephen McNeil as Nova Scotia's Liberal Party leader in February. Kousoulis most recently served as Minister of Labour and Advanced Education, but he resigned his cabinet post to pursue his leadership aspirations. The same held true for competitors Iain Rankin, the former Environment Minister, and Randy Delorey, the former Health Minister.
This week's podcast also features a recent presentation by the Bras d'Or Lake Biosphere Reserve Association to Richmond Municipal Council's Committee of the Whole meeting in Arichat. The association's chair, Eileen Crosby, and St. Peter's-area representative Gordon Kerr reviewed the 10-year history of the lake's existence as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the association's hopes for the future.
